Don Grubbs

Don Grubbs, 84 of Cranks, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on July 15, 1939 to the late Lewis and Joann Stewart Grubbs in Cawood. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He loved working in his garden. 

Mr. Grubbs is preceded in death by his Parents; Daughters, Karen Grubbs and Mary Grubbs; Brothers, Harmon Grubbs and Seymour Grubbs; Sisters, Hazel Brewer and Mary Grubbs. 

Don is survived by his loving Wife of 47 years, Rebecca Grubbs; Sons, Rick Grubbs and Wife Renee, Jerry Grubbs and Wife Joann, Kenny Grubbs and Wife Shawwna all of Ohio and Robert Hensley and Wife Sis of Cranks; Daughters, Donna Howard of Florida, Tammy Jackson and Husband Ronnie of Cranks and Ashley Jewell and Husband Richard of Georgetown; Sisters, Georgie Shackelford and Juanita Pennington; Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, family and friends will also mourn his passing. 

Visitation will begin at 11AM on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 and last until the Funeral hour of 1PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Gary Grubbs will be officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
