Delmus Stewart, 76 of Lily, passed away April 18, 2016 at Corbin Baptist Health Care. He was born to Henry and Dixie Stewart May 29, 1939. He was a retired coal miner.
Delmus is preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Lorene Whitaker Stewart; Brothers, Charles Henry Stewart, Donnie Napier, Rick Napier, Mike Napier; Sister, Norma Napier; Children, Dell Ray Stewart, Judy Short, Myra Whitaker, and Joe Whitaker.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his Children, Randy Stewart, Marcia Hornsby, Bill Short, Steve Napier; Brother, Ralph Napier; Sisters, Pat Cornett and Connie Napier; Grand Children, Amie Wright, David Wright, Jason Hornsby, Robbie Hornsby and Shaunda Collins. Several Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday April 21, 2016 from 4PM to 6PM with services following at 6PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Burial will be Friday April 22, 2016 at 11AM in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Stewart.
