David Ray Jones, age 68, entered Heaven’s eternal gates at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital on Tuesday March 14, 2017. He was born on April 14, 1948 to the late Saint Elmo and Lula Mae Jones.
Mr. Jones leaves to mourn his passing his wife Kathie Burkhart Jones, his children Angelia Kathleen Snyder and husband Robert, Larissa Jones, David Dustin Ray Jones, his brother Frankie Jones, sisters Bonnie Carr and husband Leonard of London, KY, Opal Lotz and husband Fred of Acworth, GA, and Frank Jones of Acworth, GA. Grandchildren Stephen Snyder, Sarah Snyder, Ryan Snyder, Racheal Snyder, Hayden Bustle and Destini Jones, he is also survived by a host of family and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Jones will be Monday March 20, 2017 in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 10 am to 2 pm. Funeral will follow at 2 pm with Reverend Arnold Martin officiating, interment in the Margaret Burkhart Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
