Cody Kyle Fultz, age 18, of Bledsoe, KY passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Harlan Co., KY. He was born December 25, 1995 in Harlan, KY. His parents are Larry and Doloris Fultz of Bledsoe, KY. He was a 2014 graduate of Harlan County High School and a member of the Upper Beech Fork United Methodist Church and the Mozelle Church of God. Cody loved playing the piano and guitars. He also loved riding his dirt bike. He was a member of the Bledsoe Volunteer Fire Dept. He volunteered every summer with the Beech Fork Church helping repair homes of the elderly. He planned on attending Alice Lloyd College.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Elbert Fultz.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Gage Fultz of Bledsoe, KY; paternal grandmother, Viola Fultz; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Delilah Brown and many friends and family.
Visitation will be Monday, June 2, 2014 from 6 to 9PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11AM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Rev. Geoffrey Roberts of Mozelle Church of God and Rev. Steve Wilson of Upper Beech Fork United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Scott Cemetery, Bledsoe, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Camp Nathaniel PO Box 129, Emmalena, KY 41740. This would have been Cody’s 10th year attending the camp.
