Clayton Kelly

Clayton Kelly, 76, of Baxter passed away April 1, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born to the late George and Florence McVey Kelly on November 29, 1939 in Gulston, KY. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Teetersville Church of God.
Clayton is preceded in death by his parents; Brothers, Julius Kelly and Richard Kelly; Sisters, Alma Lee Sullivan, Lenora Wrightsman, Charlene Hoskins; Son, Clayvis Kelly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Burma Kay Jones Kelly of Baxter; Children, Clayton Kelly Jr. and Wife Ginny Kelly of Knoxville, TN, Tonya Kelly of Baxter, James Kelly of Baxter, Earl (Theresa) Kelly of Detroit, Bill Kelly of Detroit, and Tammy Williams of Detroit; Sisters, Francis Williams of Riovista, Kathleen Simpson of Illinois, and Janice (Ernie) Miracle of Rosspoint. A Host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and a multitude of loved ones and friends.
The Family would like to say ‘Thank You’ to the members of Hospice that helped them so much in their loved ones last days, Amy, Jimmy, Constance, Steven, Jason, and Mabel.
Visitation will be Sunday April 3, 2016 at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 5PM-9PM.
Funeral Services will be Monday April 4, 2016 in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant at 11:30AM with Rev. Mitchell Brock officiating. Pall Bearers will be, Alex Kelly, Michael Belcher, Simon Jones, Samuel Jones, Keaton Dillman, Seth Lunsford, and Hagen Cunningham. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
