Clarice Adams Cole

July 19, 1930 — February 14, 2025

Clarice Inez Adams Cole, age 94, of Carrollton, passed away on February 14, 2025, at a local healthcare facility. She was born in Carrollton on July 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Lewis Adams and Lois Johnson Adams. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Herbert Cole; her sister, Dorothy Driver; and her brothers, Dwight Adams, Dumah Adams, Dayton Adams, Weems Adams, and Idus Adams; brothers-in-law, C.E. and Wilma Cole, Houston Cole; and sisters-in-law, Robbie and Lawrence Akin, Betty Ann Smith, Peggy Reid, Janice Kittle, Freida Cole, Beth Cole, Charlotte and Sherron Muse.

Survivors include her children; Ricky Cole (Becky) of Carrollton and Randy Cole (Michelle) of Harlan, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Aaron Cole (Teresa), Adam Cole (Jessica), Dana Cole, Daniel Cole (Karrie), Ian Everett, and Cole Everett (Kayla); eight great-grandchildren, Noah Cole (Brooklyn), Joseph Cole, Og Cole, Elm Cole, Madison Everett, Anslee Cole, Ella Cole, and Addie Cole; brothers-in-law, Michael and Charlsie Cole, Dwayne Cole, Wendell and Brenda Cole, Barry Cole, Donnie Kittle, and Chester Reid, and sisters-in-law, Bonnie and William Jenkins and Merial Cole.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home, and Monday, February 17, 2025, from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Services will be conducted on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm from Pleasant View Baptist Church with Mr. Adam Cole, and Pastor Bryan Stamps officiating. Pastor Micah Gentle will conduct the graveside service. Aaron Cole, Cole Everett, Noah Cole, Joseph Cole, Og Cole, and Freddie Richey will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
