Clarence Bud Scott

Clarence “Bud” Scott, age 70, of Dayhoit, KY passed away August 20, 2015 at the Harlan ARH following a courageous fight with cancer. He was born July 27, 1945 to the late William Burton and Nancy Brock Scott. He was a heavy equipment operator with Shamrock Coal Co. He believed in the Pentecostal faith.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Jerry, Ward, James, and John Scott, and sisters, Jackie Williams, Ada Isaacs, Elizabeth Simpson, Nanny Payne, Mallie Scott, Nancy Scott, Bertha Buell, and Martha Saylor.

Survivors include brother, Michael Scott of Wallins Creek, KY and sister Lena (AJ) Conway of Richton, MS, special friend, Debbie Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 22 from 5-8pm at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Sunday, August 23 at 1pm with Rev. Jack Carmical officiating. Burial will follow at the White Star Cemetery, Dayhoit, KY with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
