Charles Holden Sr., 80 of Morristown, passed away peacefully on August 17,2021. He was born to the late James Clifford and Sallie M. Hicks Holden on May 16, 1941 in Bardo, KY.
Mr. Holden served our Country faithfully for 10 years in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later went to college to become an Insurance Adjuster and started his own Insurance Business that he was so proud of.
Charles is preceded in death by his Parents, James and Sallie Holden; Several Brothers and Sisters; Wife, Frances Holden and a Son, Mark Holden.
Mr. Holden is survived by his Children, Sandi Collins and Husband Doug, Suzanne Kennedy and Husband Cale and Richard Holden and Wife Kim; Grandchildren, Sybil Begley, Cemone Begley and Husband Andrew Crisler and Linsey Miller and Husband Jerry; Great Grandchildren, Calie, Brayden, Penelope, Jayce and Negan; Special Niece, Deborah “Cookie” Holden; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends also mourn his passing.

A Private Visitation will be 11AM to 12PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Friday, August 20, 2021. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with the Harlan County Honor Guard performing Military Rites.
