Catherine Hensley Collins

Catherine Hensley Collins went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 6, 2018. She was born to the union of the late Ephie and Margie Brock Hensley at Red Bird, KY on February 7, 1945. She was 73 years old.
Above all, Kat was dedicated to her Christian faith and enjoyed reading her Bible and watching Christian television. Most times you’d find her napping with her poodle Princess and husband James or meddling in her kids and grandkids affairs.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Belcher Jr., Sisters Verda Mae Saylor and Martha Gross and a brother Bobby Hensley.
Left behind to carry on her memory, her husband and constant companion of 31 years, James Collins of Bledsoe, KY. Sons Jeff Belcher (Stella) of Bledsoe, Ky and Talton Belcher of Helton, KY. Daughters Jean Caldwell (Rev. Glenn), Liz Belcher (Lloyd) and April Collins (Rod) all of Bledsoe, KY. Stepdaughter Tildy Hoskins (Wayne) of Xenia, OH. Sister Betty Bennett (Ronnie) of Rosspoint, KY. Brothers Earnest Brock and Ephie Hensley Jr. (Jackie) both of Bledsoe, KY, Wilkie Hensley and Rev. Bo Caldwell (Vicky) both of Helton, KY. Treasured grandchildren Joseph, Jeannie (Tony), Leslie (Tim), Devin, Casey, Logan, Austin, Jaida, Ember, Tabitha, DeeDee and Jamie, 21 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, also surviving special daughter-in-law Becky Belcher.
Visitation will be at the DryFork Holiness Church in Helton, KY, Friday August 10, 2018 starting at 6 PM until the Funeral hour. Funeral service will be Saturday August 11, 2018 at 1 PM also at the church with the Reverends Bo Caldwell and Glenn Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at the Eli Cooper Cemetery in Bledsoe, KY. Pallbearers will be grandsons Casey Belcher, Logan Wilson, Austin Belcher and nephews Tracey Caldwell, David Caldwell, Melvin Brock, Jake Hensley and Jacob Hensley.
