Carlo "JC" Burns Jr.

Carlo “JC” Burns Jr., 68, of Bledsoe, passed away August 18, 2018 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born to the Late Carlo Jr. and Flora Bailey Burns on April 26, 1950. He was a Coal Miner for over 23 years.
Mr. Burns is preceded in death by his Parents; Former Wife and Mother of his Children, Polly Ann Burns; Girlfriend of 11 years, Tammy Wilson; Sisters, Nancy Hensley, Fayetta Burns and Reva Mae Burns; Brother in Laws, T.J. Asher, William Farley and Delmer “Pete” Patterson.
JC is survived by his loving Daughters, Carla Simpson and Husband Wayne and Christie Burns Durham; Grandchildren, Carlie LeAnna Osborne, Rhianna Shea Durham, Kaylee Lockhart, Danielle Whitehead, Josh Simpson, Jessica Simpson; Great Grandson, Zayden Cole; Brother, Billy Ray Burns and Wife Mary; Sisters, Frankie Asher, Rachael Miniard, Irene Farley, Norma “Tootie” Patterson; Special Great Niece, Zoey Isabella “Bella” Bailey.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm also in the Chapel with Travis Gross officiating. Burial will be Wednesday August 22,2018 at 11am at Burns Family Cemetery in Dingo. Pallbearers will be Josh Simpson, Randy Miniard, Cotton Asher, Dylan Asher, and Michael Patterson.
