Carl Lee Wilder

Carl Lee Wilder, 89 of Baxter, passed away on March 16, 2023 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born to the late Joseph and Cumile Holmes Wilder on December 30, 1933. 

Mr. Wilder is preceded by his parents; Wife, Sarah Wilder, Sister, Dorothy Howard and her Husband, R. Smith Howard MD; Brothers, Don Wilder, Doug Wilder and Merle Wilder.

Carl is survived by his Brother, David Wilder; Nephews, Joseph Howard and Wife Mary Greene Howard and Robert Smith Howard II MD and Wife Teresa Howard MD; Nieces, Elena Creech and Marilu Enterline; Great Niece and Nephew, Mary Elizabeth Burton and Husband Tim and William Brittain Howard; Cousin, Joe Tim Howard; Nephews, Russell Hubbard and Zachary Hubbard. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Family and Friends will also mourn his passing.

A graveside service will be held at Wilder Cemetery on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:30AM. The family will meet at the Funeral Home at 11AM to go in procession to the cemetery. Service will be officiated by Pastor Charlie Morris. Harlan County Honor Guard will perform Military Rites.
