Boyd Boggs

Boyd Boggs, age 82, of Big Laurel, KY passed away August 9, 2015 at the Harlan ARH. He was born August 19, 1932 in Harlan, KY to the late William and Roxie Harris Boggs. He worked in the coal industry and was a member of the Harris Memorial Chapel, Big Laurel, KY.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by son, David Boggs.

Survivors include wife, Iva Turner Boggs, children, Sallie Mae (Walter) Mullins, William Boggs, Mary Maxine (Estill) Pruitt, Barbara Ella (Johnny) York, Douglas Wayne (Cherri) Boggs, Joseph Titus Boggs, Jamie Tyler (Retta) Boggs, Gabrielle Annamarie Boggs, grandchildren, Connor Boggs, Jacob, Kirsten, Austin, Kylie Howard, and Cody Howard, Devan Boggs, Jennifer Posey, Brittany Davis, Jeanne Davis, Jessica Whitehead, Casey, Thomas, and Sarah Hatfield, Heather York, Jasmine Siegler, Walter (Pumpkin), Josh, and Jeremiah Mullins, 16 great grandchildren, and many friends and family.

Visitation will be Friday, August 14, from 5pm until the funeral hour at the Harris Memorial Chapel, Big Laurel, KY. Funeral will be Saturday, August 15 at 2pm also at the Harris Memorial Cemetery with Eugene Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the Harris Memorial Chapel with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
