Bonnie Fultz, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 19, 2023, in Pennington Gap, Virginia. Born on June 5, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, Raised in Harlan, KY, Bonnie led a remarkable life filled with love, faith, and compassion.
Bonnie was a manager at the state of Virginia DMV. Her commitment to excellence and her ability to lead by example earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues. With dedication and unwavering determination, Bonnie navigated her career path with grace and skill.
But Bonnie's true legacy extends far beyond her professional endeavors. She will forever be remembered for her profound belief in the Holiness Faith and her unwavering devotion to God. Through both word and action, she embodied the principles of love, forgiveness, and acceptance that lie at the core of her faith.
Bonnie had a nurturing spirit that extended beyond the church walls. She cherished every moment spent with her children, Joseph Fultz (Stephanie) and Jennifer Smith (Harry), as well as her grandchildren, Lee Smith, Ashley Smith, Madelyn Fultz, and Thomas Fultz; brother, Jamie (Serena) Daniels. With too many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to name, each one held a special place in Bonnie's heart.
Additionally, Bonnie formed deep bonds with loyal friends who now mourn her loss alongside countless acquaintances whose lives she touched throughout the years. Her welcoming nature knew no bounds; she treated everyone with kindness and respect.
Bonnie was an inspiration to many people. Even in sickness, she tried to lift people up and was always willing to tell what God had done for her.
A visitation service will be held on October 22, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on October 23, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Holiness Church in Smith, KY, with the Reverends Doug Daniels, Perry Long, Joseph Fultz, and Spencer Burkhart officiating. Interment will follow at the Hensley Cemetery in Smith, KY, with Greg Long, Dave Robinson, Lee Smith, Jace Daniels, James Henry Long, Harry Smith, Kevin Long, and Justin Long serving as pallbearers.
Bonnie Fultz now rests with her heavenly Father, reunited with her father, Frank Daniels, and mother, Lillie Daniels. May her spirit soar high as she finds eternal peace in the loving embrace of God.
