Bobby Joe Nolan Jr., 65 of Totz, a man whose warmth touched the hearts of all who crossed his path, passed away on September 12, 2024, in Louisville, KY. Born on January 7, 1959, Bobby lived a life marked by joy laughter, and a that could brighten even cloudiest of days. His infectious smile and kind demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Bobby earned his living working in a lumber yard. Throughout his life, Bobby built numerous special friendships, reflecting the loving heart that defined him.
He proudly served in the United States Army, an experience that instilled in him values of honor and camaraderie that would resonate throughout his life. His service is a testament to his character, one that epitomized love of country and community.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Nolan Sr., Brother, Randy Nolan and a Niece, Randi Jo English.
Bobby is survived by his beloved Mother, Jeannette Day Nolan, who always carried her son's spirit close to her heart. He leaves behind his Brothers, Kenny Nolan (Dawn) and Shane Nolan, as well as his Sisters, Tammy Bullard (David), Dianne Wilson (Tom), and his special sister, Sharon Steele. Each family member holds cherished memories of Bobby, memories filled with laughter, kindness, and the warmth of his unwavering support. Several Nieces, Nephews, Church family and good friends from Indianapolis also mourn his passing.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bobby's life during the Visitation on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 12 PM, also in the Chapel with Reverend David Hill and David Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Day Cemetery at Totz with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers..
