Billy Gene Engle

Billy Gene Engle, age 76, passed away on Thursday June 11, 2020. He was born on March 20, 1944 to the late Chester A. (Jack) Engle and Edith Engle. He was a coalminer for more than 33 years and he liked to fish, woodworking, painting and just being with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Chester (Jack) and Edith Engle, a daughter Lisa P Engle Smith, a granddaughter Anna Engle, stepson Vincent McComb and a brother Arthur L. Engle.
Billy leaves to cherish his memory his wife Loretta Engle, the love of his life for nearly 41 years, son Billy Ray Engle, daughter Lora Engle Montgomery and husband Robbie, step daughter Tammy Colvin and husband Glenn, very special “Little Man” Clinton McComb, Brother James Engle, sister Sharon L. Smith and husband Ronald, a host of grandchildren, family and friends.
Mount Pleasant Funeral home will be continuing to comply with CDC and State Guidelines on Funeral Services by maintaining the social distance of 6ft and allowing only 33% of our building’s occupancy capacity.
Visitation will be Monday June 15, 2020 in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 12 to 2 PM. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM with Reverend Sean Daniels officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
