Betty Sue Neal

Mrs. Betty Sue Neal of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Harlan, KY , went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday December 14, 2016 with her family gathered around her. Mrs. Neal believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a member of The Church of God. Her passion was to play the guitar, she played the guitar in her church all of her life

Mrs. Neal was born on April 18, 1932 to the late Boyd Ison and Lovie Monday Ison. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Neal Jr.; two sons, Jimmy Neal and Ricky Lee Neal; sisters, Jeanette Cress, Goldie Archer and Alberta Parrott.

Mrs. Neal leaves to mourn her passing her children , Patsy and husband Steve Simon, Linda and husband Donald Goodvich, Caroline and husband Guy Rayon, Homer Neal III and wife Rita, and Joey Neal and partner David Morris, two brothers, James Ison and Roger Ison, sister; Pansy Ison, sixteen grandchildren and fifteen Great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. And a special thank you to her caregiver Ed Quillman which was a tremendous help.

Visitation will be in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Saturday December 17, 2016 from 12 to 1 PM, funeral will follow at 1 Pm with the Reverend Roger Ison officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
