Betty Mitchell, 64 of Harlan, passed away at home with her loved ones by her side on September 14, 2020. She was born to the late Henry and Opal “Flo” Dean Southard on November 26, 1955.
Mrs. Mitchell is preceded in death by her Parents; Granddaughter, Liberty Blevins; Brothers, Harry Southard, Daniel Southard and Jimmy Stapleton; Sisters, Cathy Southard and Mary Howard; Mother in Law, Cassie Mitchell who was like a mother to her.
Betty is survived by her loving Husband of 47 years, Sonny Mitchell; Children, Sonny Mitchell and Wife Misty of Harlan, Gracie Blevins and Husband Bill of Kenvir, Jonah Mitchell of Harlan and Cathy Fultz and Husband Jeff of Kenvir; Brother, Harrison Southard and Wife Barb of Manchester; Brother in Law, Walter Mitchell; Special Niece and Nephew, Cathy Compton and Terry Mitchell; Special Friends, Ida Pace and Husband Junior and Sue Taylor and Husband Millard; Grandchildren, Johnny Gray, Cheyanne Carroll and Husband Marc, Cassie Napier and Husband Adam, Ashleigh Robinson and Husband Roger, Donald Bargo and Wife Kate, Little Sonny Mitchell, Gage Mitchell, Georgia Mitchell, James Mitchell, Austin Evers, Alexis Evers, Eddie Harmon, Harold Bargo, Hannah Middleton and Husband Brandon, Jonathan Blevins, Little Bill Blevins and Wife Jessica and Joe Blevins and Wife Savannah; Great Grandchildren, Maria Carroll, Izzy and AJ Napier, Octavia, Jacob and Brantley Wright, Brayley and Aaliyah Bargo, America and James Blevins, Jonathan Worley, Kain, Joseph, Natalie, Keva and Teagan Blevins, Two Great Grandchildren on the way, Bentley Robinson and Hadley Bargo.
Visitation will be Friday, September 18, 2020 from 1PM to 2PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2PM with Doug Daniels and Junior Pace officiating. Burial will follow at Tway Cemetery with Sonny, Eddie, Jonathan, Roger and Adam serving as pallbearers.
