Betty Greer

Betty Greer, a beloved homemaker, passed away on December 3, 2023, in Evarts, KY. Born on March 9, 1963, Betty lived a life of devotion and faith. She embraced the Pentecostal Faith and was a member of the King's Chapel Pentecostal Church, where her beautiful piano playing filled the hearts of those around her. Betty was always known for her love for people and an unwavering devotion to the Lord.

Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever etched in the lives of those she touched. Her love and kindness towards others were evident in every interaction she had.

In addition to her devoted husband of 29 years, Willie Greer of Evarts, KY, Betty is survived by her brother, Millard Smith, and sister, Patricia Cornett as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.  

Betty Greer is preceded in death by her parents, William Smith and Vina Scott; brothers, James Smith, Jeffery Smith, Charles Smith, Kenneth Smith and Leonard Smith; and sisters, Linda Field and Janice Smith. Betty's loving spirit will be reunited with those who have gone before her, and together, they will continue watching over their cherished family.

The visitation for Mrs. Greer will be held on December 5, 2023, starting at 5:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on December 6th, 2023, starting at 1:00 PM with Glenn Cornett officiating. Interment will follow at the Creech Cemetery in Cumberland, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
