Amanda Young Delagarza, age 35, passed away on December 24, 2022. She leaves behind four children Jose L Varguez JR, Mariana Partin, Isabella Bowlin, and Kassandra (Kassi) Delagarza. Her mother, Lisa Fox Streetman, and step-father Rick Streetman. Two step-brothers Ricky Streetman JR and Joey Streetman.
Amanda was born on May 8, 1987, in Harlan, KY, where she grew up until the age of 10. Becoming a military brat, she lived in Alabama and Kansas, where she made many friends from multiple cultural backgrounds. As an adult, she lived in several states, including NC, SC, AL, TN, FL, and TX, settling in Kansas City, Missouri. Even though she was a Kentucky native, she loved Alabama Crimson Tide Football, and you could always hear her loud voice say Roll Tide! Her greatest passion in life was singing. She truly had the voice of an Angel. Her love of music and singing came from singing in church as a child and grew through the years. She even had her own YouTube channel where the entire world could hear that beautiful voice. She lived her life to the fullest and was never afraid to do whatever made her happy in life. She never met a stranger and would give her last dollar to anyone in need.
Amanda leaves behind not only family but numerous close friends as well as her church, House of Worship in Independence, Missouri, that were her family too.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. The funeral service for Amanda will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 12 PM, with interment following at Resthaven Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
