Alice Smith

Alice J. Smith, age 82, of Smith, KY passed away January 15, 2015 at the Tri Cities Nursing Home. She was born July 6, 1932 at Gulston, KY to the late William and Mary Fowler Eads. She was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Smith, brother, Gerald Eads, and sister, Loretta Nickley.

Left to mourn her passing are her children; Harley Monroe Smith and Woodrow (Helen) Smith both of Smith, KY; grandchildren, Priscilla (Donnie) Britton, of Smith, Stephanie (Tim) McDaniel of Jefferson City, TN, Woody (Jamie) Smith of Putney, Marshall (Kristy) Smith of Smith, and Jacob Hensley of Smith; great grandchildren, Johnathan and Whitney Mitchell and Emily and Jordyn Smith; brothers, Robert (Geraldine) Eads of Newtonville, OH, Dennis Eads of Hillsboro, OH, Orville Eads of FL, and Bill (Becky) Eads of Hillsboro, OH.

Visitation will be Friday, January 16 from 5 to 8 at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will be Saturday, January 17 at 1PM at the Faith Holiness Church, Smith, KY with Rev. Spencer Burkhart officiating. Burial will be at the Britton Cemetery, Smith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
