Algrobia Carol Couch

Algrobia Carol Couch, 87, of Putney, KY, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024. She was born July 21, 1937, in Leslie County, KY.

Algrobia is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Naomi Whitehead; husband, Alvis Bud Couch; son, Alvis Couch Jr.; brothers, Oscar Whitehead, Theodore Whitehead, Roscoe Whitehead, Dexter Whitehead, and Alfred Whitehead; sister, Lottie Dixon, and special father and mother-in-laws, Alex and Ollie Couch. 

She is survived by her sons, Donald (Melissa) Couch of Corbin, KY, Billy Couch of Putney, KY, Bobby (Virginia) Couch of Rosspoint, KY, and Johnny Couch of Putney, KY; brothers Manuel Whitehead and Ted (Thelma) Whitehead; and sister Mary Greene. Also surviving are a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the Lewis Cemetery in Putney, KY (the cemetery is behind the Putney Post Office). Pastor Darrell Turner will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

The family would like to thank all who came to see her and all the preachers who came to pray with her.
