Aaron Wesley "Wes" Thomas

Aaron Wesley "Wes" Thomas, 56, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 after a long illness. He was born December 9, 1962 to Johnny Thomas and Naomi Strickland Thomas.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a Sister, Janice Hayes; Brother, Robert Thomas; Grandparents, Willie and Eva Strickland and Aaron and Ellen Thomas; and his Mother in Law, Effie Jean Whitehead.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Denise Thomas; Six Children, Erin Edens and Husband Derek, Wesley Thomas and Wife Courtney, Todd Halcomb and Wife Charlotte, Megan Lucas, Emily Thomas and Gage Thomas; Ten Grandchildren, Brianna Thomas, Ringo Thomas, Everly Thomas, Ally Fee, Todd, Aubree, Gabrielle and Ryder Halcomb, Allen Lucas and Jacquelyn Gilbert; Step Mother, Leoma Thomas; Sisters, Billie Street, Patricia Strickland, Betty Joe Brown and Lisa Barger and Husband Kinny; Brothers, Ray Thomas and Wife Cathy and Ralph Cloud and Wife Candy; Father in Law, Manuel Whitehead; A Host of Nieces and Nephews and Family also survive.
Many Friends over the years whom he worked with, Frank Stewart, Ben Noe, Danny Stanton, Doug Burkhart and Robert Gross, just to name a few, but not to exclude anyone. Also, a very special friend whom he loved as a Brother, Darryl Powell.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 5PM to 9PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 17, 2019 at 1PM also in the Chapel with Franklin Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Day- Jackson Cemetery with Nephews and Friends serving as pallbearers.
