Virginia Turner

Virginia Irene Turner, 78, of Stanfill, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Harlan Nursing Home. Virginia was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 16, 1940 to the late Amon North and Lucille North Baxter. She loved to sew, bake, garden, work on puzzles and spending time with her Friends in the Nursing Home.
Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her Parents; Brothers, Robert North and Charles North; Ex Husband, Denver Turner and Son, Danny Turner.
Virginia is survived my her Loving Daughters, Patty Arvin and Husband Virgil and Barbara Whitman and Husband John; Grandchildren, Michael and Mary Shepherd, Patrick Arvin, Johnathan Arvin and Stephanie, Jeremy Whitman, Jordan Whitman, Rebecca Whitman, Tonya Carnahan and Tracie Green; Several Great Grandchildren; Brother, Jerry North; Sister in Law, Dorothy North; Several Nieces and Nephews and Dear Friends, Dee Bargo, Lola Turner, Ed Arvin, Betty Arvin and Betty and Harold Dean also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 1PM to 3PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3PM also in the Chapel with Darrell Turner officiating. Burial will follow at The Turner Family Cemetery in Putney.
